Who are the best soldiers ?

ok i want everyones personal opinions…im not talking who has the best army but a group of soldiers like a battalion or what ever
is it the USMC, royal marines, french foreign legion, and reason why you think they are the best
here is mine…
i personal think its the gurkhas just cos the fact they are fukin awesome…15000 people trying to get into just 250 places for the british army and they go through months of training just to get that place then they go through much harder more advanced training the most other armies

The best soldier is the one who has a cause worthy to die for. Training does help kill another but nothing can stop a cause that is greater than self gain. You can crush a man but you can’t crush his spirit. Even if you got the so called best soldier in on the planet (USMC, royal marines, french foreign legion, etc) to try to take a county for its resources they may succeed at first but the spirit will erode it over time.

No one will know Until We go to war against the brits….WAIT, WE DID, AND WON… Well, we will never know between USMC, and French Foreign Legion untill they get occupied by someone and need us to get them out… WAIT, THEY DID, AND WE GOT THEM OUT…… well, I guess the answer lies in the history books. But I agree, the Gurkhas are some **** awesome dudes.

Well, that’s a bit of a skewed question, because you see, there are no ’soldiers’ anywhere but the army.
The Marine Corps only has Marines, no soldiers.
The Navy only has Sailors, no soldiers.
The AF only has Airmen, no soldiers.
The CG only has Guardsmen, no soldiers.
As for the foreign outfits, they’ve got their own name for ’solders’, but I guarantee that if you called a British Royal Marine a ’soldier,’ it might be a very painful experience for you.

Your right the Gurkhas are pretty kick ass, but i would say the Parachute Regiment or the Royal Marines. The selection process and training is grueling.
