i am a us marine and if i one day wanted to join the royal marines or any branch of england’s armed forces, would that be allowed? are there any countries that allow this? i know immigrants can join the us armed services under certain conditions…

Me and my friends have decided to help out at our colleges Equality and Diversity week by selling a few things and giving the money to a charity

We picked LGBT because we thought it might be a little bit different to everything else going on.

Does anyone know any UK charities we could send the money to? Or any in the East of England or more specifically, Bedfordshire?

Are there any etiquette guidelines Americans should follow when in England? I am moving to a small town in Bedfordshire, Luton, and having never even been abroad, I am nervous about offending anyone. Is there anything the Americans do that the English find particularly annoying?

Also, I have been looking for UK etiquette books, and have found a number of them; is there one that you would recommend above all of the rest? Thank you in advance.

I’d really like to take my friends to a theme park for the day but i don’t want to end up only going on three rides in a day… Has anyone got any good tips for lesser known so forth lesser crowded amusement parks in England? Is there any good ones in the Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire area?
